Did you hear about the time Rihanna filled a plane with fans and journalists so they could join in the fun as she traveled to seven countries in seven days with seven shows to promote her seventh album? Reports indicated the ad­ven­ture was pure chaos, and new one-hour special “Rihanna 777” (Fox at 8) shows what happened, calling it an “ambitious and often turbulent” tour.

Marshall and Lily get ready for their big move to Italy on “How I Met Your Mother” (CBS at 8), while Robin frantically digs in Central Park to find the “something old” she buried there years ago for her wedding day.

The competition is starting to wind down on “Dancing With the Stars” (ABC at 8), as the finalists must improve their skills even more to impress the judges before the finals.

A former employee who worked for Caroline’s father threatens to defame him in a tell-all book on “2 Broke Girls” (CBS at 9), so Caroline is forced to go on a talk show — Piers Morgan guest stars as himself — to defend her dad.

SERIES PREMIERE: Didn’t we all learn our lesson about submitting to a “Newlyweds” reality show? Apparently not, as several couples let the cameras in their homes in new docu-series “Newlyweds: The First Year” (Bravo at 10). Couples included: Kathryn, who leaves the single life in New York City to move to the suburbs with new husband John; and Blair and Jeff, from families of divorce and neglect, who sign domestic partnership papers.

Documentary “Dear Mom, Love Cher” (Lifetime at 10) profiles Cher’s mother, Georgia Holt, and goes back to her early life in Arkansas, all the way through her career as an actress-singer in Hollywood. The film also has interviews with her daughters, Cher and Georganne LaPiere Bartylak, along with grandchildren Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman.

Rachel and Aaron are captured on “Revolution” (NBC at 10), while Charlie joins Jason and Nora to stop Monroe from finding Anthrax.

SERIES PREMIERE: Things get weird on new show “Felt” (Logo at 12:30), which uses real-life recorded couples counseling and sex therapy sessions and puts the voices in the mouths of puppets.

Actor John Krasinski and actress Kerry Washington are on “Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35), along with singer James Blake.

“The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” (NBC at 11:35) hosts basketball star Magic Johnson, “Today” host Savannah Guthrie and a performance by Fall Out Boy.

Singer Rod Stewart and actress Edie Falco are on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (ABC at 11:35).
