"At Coulter Bay Village in Grand Teton National Park, there is a small trail along the side of Jackson Lake. The trail is heavily wooded for a majority of the hike until you reach an opening and are subsequently left speechless as the 6,000-foot face of some of the tallest peaks in the Tetons reveal themselves to you just a stone’s throw across the water. This photo captures this monumental revelation from a rock beach at the end of the trail, with the evening sun already setting behind the peaks — the natural back lighting only adds to the mythical ambiance."Logan Smith
