Michael Tinsley of Vanceboro, N.C., spotted this problematic sign at the intersection of routes 17 and 70 in New Bern, N.C., in April 2012. “I wonder how many people looked at it (person who painted it, person who packed it, person who put it on the poles, supervisor who was on the job, etc.) before I took this picture?” he muses. We hope that it has long since been replaced.
