The Bermuda Tourism Authority is offering a 50 percent sale at 13 island resorts. Properties participating in the Pink Sale include the Fairmont Southampton, Hamilton Princess Bermuda and St. George’s Club. Prices vary. For example, a deluxe ocean-view room at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort starts at $120 a night, including taxes (add $11 daily resort fee); normal price is from $275. Harbourview Inn in downtown Charleston, S.C., is offering a deal that includes 20 percent off lodging, a $50 restaurant gift certificate and free valet parking (usually $24 a day). In late January, rooms at the historic district hotel start at $198 a night, including taxes, a savings of about $41. Salamander Resort and Spa, a luxury property in Middleburg, Va., has two holiday packages for last-minute getaways.
