This week’s best travel bargains around the globe.


On Feb. 29, book an Ireland land trip with Isle Inn Tours and four travelers go for the price of three. The Leap Year Special applies to its six-night Pub Tour of Ireland, which starts in Shannon on Oct. 28. A group of four pays $3,405, a savings of $1,135. The tour includes six nights’ double occupancy in first-class hotels, all breakfasts, four dinners, land transportation with a local driver and guide, daily sightseeing and taxes. Historic Hotels of America is offering the perks-filled Explore Lynchburg Package. The deal starts at $179 a night, plus taxes, and includes a deluxe or premium room at the Craddock Terry Hotel and Event Center, a turn-of-the-century shoe factory converted into a boutique hotel; a bottle of Virginia wine; and two tickets to the Lynchburg Museum and the Point of Honor historic home (value $20). Two-night minimum stay required; two nights, with taxes, starts at $398. Valid through Dec. 30. Hotels.com is offering a winter sale on nearly 50 hotels in Puerto Rico, with discounts of up to 40 percent, free nights and resort credits. Deals and restrictions vary. For example, receive a free fourth night at the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. In mid-March, a pool-view room starts at $534 a night, or pay $1,824, with taxes, for four nights. At the Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa, a Wyndham Grand Resort near Luquillo Beach, take 40 percent off the price. A resort-view room in late March, for instance, goes for about $177 a night, plus $42 taxes, down from $295. For all deals, book by Feb. 29 and travel by March 31. Save more than 50 percent — $1,000 per person — on the April 27 departure of Value World Tours’ Dnieper River cruise. The 11-night sailing on the 320-passenger Dnieper Princess travels between Ukraine’s Kiev and Odessa. P&O Cruises, the storied British cruise line, is celebrating its 175th anniversary by discountingnumerous cruises from Southampton, England, to the Canary Islands, the Baltics and the Mediterranean, among other destinations. For example, an inside cabin on the April 29 Fjords sojourn starts at $1,024 per person double, including taxes, a savings of $224. American is offering sale fares to ski destinations in Colorado and Wyoming. Round-trip fare from BWI Marshall to Vail, Colo., for example, starts at $424, including taxes; other airlines are matching, but fare is typically $511. For Colorado’s Durango, Aspen and Grand Junction, sale extends through April 8; for other destinations, travel by April 2. Blackout dates are March 8-11 and 15-18. Restrictions include a three-night minimum stay and a seven-day advance purchase. Best prices apply to Sunday-Wednesday departures and Tuesday-Friday returns. Atlantis, on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, is offering a fourth night free and airfare credits. Book an air-inclusive package through the resort and receive an airfare credit of $250 per booking for a four-night minimum stay and $400 for a stay of six nights or longer. Prices vary by room and date. For example, the discounted cost of a six-night package in late April starts at $2,541 for two adults, including round-trip nonstop AirTran flight from BWI to Nassau, a terrace room in the beach tower and taxes. Reduced price includes the $400 airfare credit and the free night valued at $399. Stay through June 20, except March 15 to April 12 blackout dates. Book by Feb. 27.
