Belle Dora Ct., 600 block. Responding to a report of a man banging on neighbors’ doors and yelling profanities, a police officer was confronted by a man with a shotgun and arrested the man. An Arnold man, 46, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment.


Sycamore Rd., 100 block, 1:34 a.m. Dec. 12. Responding to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence, police made an arrest at the scene and a second arrest after a brief car chase. Copper material of suspicious origin was found in the vehicle, and burglary tools were found at the house. Two Baltimore men, ages 29 and 30, were charged with burglary.


Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd., 7900 block, 9:28 p.m. Dec. 10. A man robbed a store of cash at gunpoint.

Warwickshire Lane, 100 block, 2:04 p.m. Dec. 7. A group of males attacked a teenager on a path, knocking him to the ground and robbing him of a cellphone and cash. A short time later, responding to a report of a group of people acting suspiciously in the unit block of Brooks Terrace Road, police arrested four Glen Burnie males, ages 14 to 16, on charges that included robbery, second-degree assault and theft.


Klagg Ct., 300 block, 12:52 a.m. Dec. 8. A man forced his way into a female acquaintance’s home, then struggled with a man who intervened, inflicting a minor stab wound with a knife. The intruder then prevented his acquaintance from leaving the premises. A Baltimore man, 28, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, first-degree burglary and other offenses.


Annapolis Rd., 2600 block, 7:51 p.m. Dec. 11. A gunman came out of a wooded area and demanded property from a shopper loading purchases into a vehicle in a store parking lot. The shopper ran away. Nothing was reported missing.


Laurel-Fort Meade Rd., 3400 block, 9:40 p.m. Dec. 7. Three male teenagers threatened a pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet. The victim was knocked to the ground during the incident but refused treatment for minor injuries.


Bernard Dr., 8200 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 6. A male who implied that he had a weapon robbed a pizza delivery driver of cash and fled on foot.

Paddle Wheel Ct., 600 block, 6:16 p.m. Dec. 8. A male robbed a pizza delivery driver of cash at knifepoint and fled on foot.


Fair Breeze Dr., 8000 block, 12:30 a.m. Dec. 6. A male attacked an acquaintance, who was taken to a hospital for treatment. David Lamont Harley, 45, of Severn was pronounced dead a short time later. An investigation was continuing.

Tyler Ave., 1400 block, 9:20 p.m. Dec. 12. Two people were found inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. A 33-year-old Brooklyn man was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation was continuing.


Bay Ridge Ave., 800 block, 2:10 a.m. Dec. 8. A male threatened a pedestrian and, after a struggle, fled with her purse.

Clay St., 200 block, 6:30 p.m. Dec. 11. A male approached a pedestrian from behind and robbed her of a purse.

West St., 1900 block, 5:30 a.m. Dec. 9. A male in a lobby at a business threatened and robbed a person of cash.


Glenwood St., 700 block, Dec. 7 to Dec. 11. Towels and tools were among property stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

Franklin St., unit block, 9 p.m. Dec. 8 to 11 a.m. Dec. 9. A purse was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

West St., 1900 block, 5 p.m. Dec. 6. A bicycle that had been left unlocked was stolen from in front of a business.


Cutter Ct., 600 block, 7:25 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6. A 2003 Ford Explorer was stolen using a key that had been left inside. It was recovered at 9:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of Belle Drive. A component of the vehicle’s stereo was missing.

Parkwood Ave., 800 block, 12:30 to 2:30 a.m. Dec. 12. A 2008 Honda Pilot was stolen using a set of keys stolen from an unlocked vehicle. At 4 a.m., the Honda was recovered in the 200 block of Janwal Street, where it had crashed into a parked vehicle. A person was seen fleeing the area on foot.

Haviland Mill Rd., 6600 block, 7:17 p.m. Dec. 12. The front door of a vacant house was damaged. A Clarksville man, 28, was charged with third-degree burglary and two counts of malicious destruction of property.


Glen Oaks Rd., 9500 block, 4:35 a.m. Dec. 10. A jewelry box and purse were stolen from a residence entered an unlocked basement door. A male wearing a mask fled to a waiting vehicle when confronted by an occupant.

Hickory Ridge Rd., 10200 block, 2 p.m. Dec. 7. Two laptop computers and a TV were stolen from an apartment entered by breaking a window.

Hickory Ridge Rd., 10300 block, 4 to 10:57 p.m. Dec. 8. A laptop computer, a jewelry box, cash, two video game consoles, games and six boxes of syringes were stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

June Apple Ct., 6600 block, 1 to 8:15 a.m. Dec. 9. A purse and a bottle of beer were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked garage. The property was recovered in the garage. Nothing was missing from the purse.

Robert Oliver Pl., 5800 block, 9:46 pm. Dec. 7. Seven males riding bicycles threatened a man in a parking lot and robbed him of a wallet.

Waterloo Rd., 5600 block, 11:40 p.m. Dec. 7. A gunman forced a gas station employee inside the store he had just locked up for the night and robbed the business of cash and cigarettes, then fled on foot.


Benson Dr., 8300 block, 4:01 a.m. Dec. 8. During a power failure, an attempt was made to enter a restaurant by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Brett Lane, 9400 block, Dec. 5 to Dec. 8. A residence was entered through a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Columbia Gateway Dr., 7100 block, 2:05 a.m. Dec. 8. A safe containing cash was stolen from a restaurant entered by forcing a back door.

Greco Garth, 9400 block, 9:15 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 7. Jewelry and two laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement window.

Twin Knolls Rd., 5400 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 11 to 11 a.m. Dec. 12. Cash and a security camera were stolen from a massage studio. There was no sign of forced entry.


Deep Cup, 7000 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 9 to 8:15 a.m. Dec. 10. A silver 2004 Nissan Altima was stolen.

Mossy Brink Ct., 7300 block, 9:31 a.m. Dec. 4. A burgundy 2000 Lincoln was stolen.

Old Montgomery Rd., 8900 block, 7:10 p.m. Dec. 3. A blue 2005 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle equipped with a yellow plow was stolen.

Woodpark Lane, 7600 block, 8:33 a.m. Dec. 8. A blue 2005 Chrysler 300 was stolen. It was recovered that day in the 6800 block of Oak Hall Lane.

Wyndham Cir., 5800 block, 8:50 to 9:03 a.m. Dec. 2. An attempt was made to steal a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country.


Montgomery Rd., 7200 block, 6:13 a.m. Dec. 8. Cash was stolen from a hair salon entered by breaking glass in a front door.

Washington Blvd., 7400 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 6 to 9:50 a.m. Dec. 8. A church and a thrift store at the same address were entered by breaking windows. Nothing was reported missing.


Valley Rd., 3600 block, 3:11 a.m. Dec. 9. A residence was entered through an unlocked front door. An unlocked vehicle parked at the residence also had been entered. Nothing was reported missing.


Kaiser Dr., 3200 block, 8:05 a.m. Dec. 4. A moped was stolen.


Lime Kiln Rd., 11900 block, 7:35 a.m. to 5:20 p.m. Dec. 12. A jewelry box, gift cards and concert tickets were among property stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a basement window.


Guilford Rd., 11000 block, 4:23 a.m. Dec. 3. A red 2007 Peterbilt dump truck was stolen.

Preston Ct., 8200 block, 2:14 p.m. Dec. 2. A blue 2001 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.


Lynn Buff Ct., 9500 block, 8 p.m. Dec. 6 to 9 a.m. Dec. 7. Tools were stolen from a garage entered through an unlocked door.


Ice Crystal, 8300 block, 3:38 p.m. Dec. 7. An attempt was made to steal a 1998 Honda Accord.

Moonshine Hollow, 9100 block, 10 p.m. Dec. 5 to 5:07 a.m. Dec. 6. A white Dodge Ram van was stolen.
