Maryland Ave., 1800 block, 8:12 p.m. Dec. 6. Shirley Renee Tucker, 63, of the District was found on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. A man, 73, was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Benning Rd., 2500 block, 5:30 p.m. Dec. 10. Two male teenagers attacked a pedestrian from behind and robbed him of a cellphone, cash and food. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

Channing St., 3000 block, 6:17 p.m. Dec. 6. Three men robbed a delivery man unloading a truck of his wallet, a cellphone and several packages at gunpoint.

Corcoran St., 1700 block, 10:12 p.m. Dec. 6. Two men threatened a pedestrian and robbed her of a cellphone from her hand.

Eastern Ave., 500 block, 5:26 a.m. Dec. 8. A man got out of a four-door pickup truck and robbed a pedestrian of her cellphone and cash at gunpoint.

Fort Lincoln Dr., 3200 block, 11:13 a.m. Dec. 6. Two men got out of a white Nissan and robbed a pedestrian of his wallet, a coat and shoes at gunpoint.

Grant St., 4000 block, 4:25 p.m. Dec. 5. A man wielding a shotgun robbed two pedestrians of purses.

Lincoln Rd., 2300 block, 6:06 p.m. Dec. 9. Two men followed a man as he entered a residence, then threatened him and robbed him of property.

Minnesota Ave., 4700 block, 11:25 p.m. Dec. 6. Two men got out of a Ford Taurus that had pulled to a stop and robbed a pedestrian of his jacket and a book bag at gunpoint. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries to his mouth.

Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., 4600 block, 10:45 p.m. Dec. 11. A man approached a woman from behind, then fled with her purse. Some of the property was recovered a short distance away.

Nannie Helen Burroughs Ave., 4900 block, 7:29 p.m. Dec. 10. Two men approached a pedestrian from behind and demanded property at gunpoint, then fled empty-handed when she showed that she was carrying nothing of value.

11th St., unit block, 8:16 p.m. Dec. 10. A person snatched property from the hand of a pedestrian, then dropped the property after a brief foot chase.

21st St., 500 block, 4:43 p.m. Dec. 7. A group of males robbed a pedestrian of his wallet at gunpoint.
