Essex House Sq., 6000 block, 1 a.m. Dec. 18. A man peering into a residence through a sliding-glass door fled when confronted.

Landmark Mews Dr. and Stultz Rd., 6:15 a.m. Dec. 13. Two men who had broken into a vehicle at a residence were confronted by the man who owned the vehicle as he arrived home in a work vehicle. They robbed him of cash at gunpoint, then drove away in the work vehicle. The vehicle was reocovered several blocks away that same day.

Constable Ct. E., 10000 block, 11:15 p.m. Dec. 14. Two men got out of a vehicle being driven by a woman and demanded cash from a pedestrian. When he refused, he was stabbed in the upper body. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
