ASSAULTS

Columbia Pike S., 5000 block, 7:05 p.m. Dec. 21. A man groped a person as she was leaving a fast-food restaurant, then fought with a man she was with at the time. An Arlington man, 24, was arrested on charges that included assault and battery and attempted malicious wounding.

Eighth St. S., 4000 block, 2:38 a.m. Dec. 23. A group of people attacked two people at a party, one of whom was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening head injuries.

ROBBERIES

Hayes St. S., 1100 block, 2:42 p.m. Dec. 24. A man threatened an employee and robbed a currency exchange business a shopping mall.

Hayes St. S., 1600 block, 7 p.m. Dec. 19. A male robbed a man of his wallet at gunpoint, then fled with an accomplice.

King St. S., 4600 block, 1:35 a.m. Dec. 25. Three men robbed a convenience store of cash, cigarettes, a case of beer and a bag of chips at gunpoint, then fled in a vehicle driven by an accomplice. A short time later, Virginia State Police made a traffic stop on the vehicle. Two Alexandria men, ages 18 and 27, a 22-year-old Lorton man and a 22-year-old Prince George’s County man were arrested.

Randolph St. N., 800 block, 9:55 a.m. Dec. 22. Three men robbed a bank at gunpoint, then fled to a vehicle driven by an accomplice. Four arrests were made that same day at a residence in the District. Four District men, ages 21, 22, 23 and 23, were charged with robbery.

Wilson Blvd. N., 4200 block, 6:35 to 7:45 p.m. Dec. 23. A man at a shopping mall robbed a person of an iPhone.

INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENTS

Clark St. S., 3500 block, 9:21 a.m. Dec. 21. A man was seen fondling himself in a sauna at a gym. An Arlington man, 63, was charged with indecent exposure.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crystal Dr. S., 2100 block, 1:25 to 4:23 a.m. Dec. 23. Twenty fur coats were stolen from a store entered by breaking a window.

Glebe Rd. N., 1500 block, 8 to 9 a.m. Dec. 22. Christmas gifts were stolen from an office at a church.

Kenmore St. N., 900 block, 9;30 a.m. to 7:50 p.m. Dec. 25. Computer hardware was stolen from a business.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Arlington Blvd., 1600 block, Dec. 22. A white 2009 Yamaha motorcycle was stolen.

Livingston St. N., 900 block, Dec. 24. A silver 1998 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

15th St. N., 5100 block, Dec. 22. A maroon 2001 Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

VANDALISM

Edison St. N., 1900 block, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 20 to 7 a.m. Dec. 21. Tires of 20 vehicles were slashed.
