Traphill Way, 7200 block, 11:31 p.m. Jan. 11. Three men forced their way inside a residence and attacked a male occupant. No serious injuries were reported.
Washington and Fayette streets, 11:41 p.m. Jan. 6. A motorist sped away from police during a traffic stop, then struck a vehicle in a turn lane and kept going. Later, a 15-year-old Haymarket male was arrested on several motor vehicle operation charges.
Festival Lane, 10200 block, 10:33 a.m. Jan. 11. A man tried to kick in an office door at a business, then fled empty-handed. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.
Sudley Rd., 7000 block, 12:21 p.m. Jan. 11. A man grabbed money from a cash register at a convenience store, then fled. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.
Prince Cole Ct., 7500 block, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 8. A video game system, two tablet computers, two cellphones and other electronics were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.
Purvis Dr., 18100 block, 11:20 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 12. A laptop computer and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.
Cardin Pl., 15000 block, 11:03 p.m. Jan. 15. A man was found in the street suffering from serious injuries. Witnesses said he was pushed out of a white minivan that had stopped briefly near a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene. County police later arrested two men in connection with the slaying of Barbaro Lupe Alonso-Iraola, 47, of no fixed address.
Opitz Blvd., 2200 block, 5:20 p.m. Jan. 11. A man attacked a female juvenile outside a library. A 27-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested on a sexual assault charge.
Kentucky and Florida avenues, 3:41 a.m. Jan. 13. A group of men attacked a male pedestrian, knocking him to the ground, then robbed him of cash, an MP3 player and a jacket.
Forest Lane, 1400 block, 3:03 p.m. Jan. 14. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door. Two Woodbridge males, ages 15 and 17, were arrested. The two also were charged in connection with a break-in that day in the 14400 block of Meridian Drive. In that incident, cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door. The 17-year-old was additionally charged in connection with two other break-ins. In an incident in the 1400 block of Forest Lane between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Jan. 11, a tablet computer and a camera were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a garage door; in an incident in the 1500 block of Woodside Drive at 11:30 a.m. Jan. 11, an intruder fled empty-handed when confronted while trying to enter a residence through a back door.
Ibsen Pl.,15800 block, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 13. Three firearms, two laptop computers, two cameras and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.
John Coffee Ct., 2800 block, 10:30 to 11 p.m. Jan. 9. Attempts were made to enter a residence by forcing a front door and a back door. A male was seen fleeing the area empty-handed.
Salemtown Dr., 12100 block, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11. Someone attempted to enter a residence by damaging a front window.
Valleywood Dr., 12800 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 8 to 12:30 a.m. Jan. 9. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.
Constellation Way, 1500 block, 9 to 10 p.m. Jan. 8. A security light at a school was damaged. Three males were seen firing a weapon in the area.
Bruton Parish Ct., 8600 block, 8:45 p.m. Jan. 12. Two males robbed a man and a woman of cash, a purse and jewelry at gunpoint.
Braxted Lane, 8500 block, 11 p.m. Jan. 11. A residence was entered by breaking glass in a door. A threatening note was left on the premises, but nothing was reported missing.
