THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Burrows Ave., 3400 block, 10 p.m. June 11 to 9 p.m. June 12. Tools were stolen from a residence.

Old Lee Hwy., 3900 block, 2:38 p.m. June 13. A male left a business after not paying for services.

Willard Way, 10300 block, 7:47 a.m. June 12. A man took a bottle of wine from a shelf in a grocery store and attempted to drink it. He fled after being confronted. A 41-year-old man of no fixed address was found in the area and charged with petty larceny.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Fairfax Blvd., 10700 block, June 7. A woman lent her vehicle to a female acquaintance, who then did not return it. A 29-year-old Centreville woman was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle.

VANDALISM

Lee Hwy., 9500 block, 6:29 p.m. June 9. A lock on a metal gate at a business was damaged.
