Man dies after being shot multiple times

A Northeast Washington man died after being shot multiple times early Saturday, D.C. police said.

Kenneth Guytrell Sweet, 30, was found unconscious shortly before 4 a.m. in the back of the 2900 block of Second Street SE. He was later pronounced dead, police said.

A Northeast Washington woman was sexually assaulted after she answered a knock at her door early Friday, D.C. police said.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., the woman opened the door to her home on Just Street, and a man forced his way in and assaulted her, police said.

Woman assaulted
after home lock-out

A woman who was locked out of her home on Webster Street in Northwest Washington early Saturday was sexually assaulted by the man who offered to help her, D.C. police said.

Once inside, the man assaulted her and fled, police said.

The man, who may go by the name “Saul,” was described as a heavy-built Hispanic man in his early 30s, between 5 feet 8 and 6 feet tall, with short black hair and a mustache, and was wearing a light-blue shirt and khaki pants, police said.

Motorcyclistis killed in crash

A Clarksburg man was killed when his motorcycle crashed Friday night, Montgomery County police said.

Kenneth Alan Burch, 53, died after his motorcycle went off the road at a curve on Hawkins Creamery Road in Damascus and hit a utility pole, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
