450 charter buses have permits for Trump inaugural; 1,800 are registered for Women’s March

About 450 buses have been registered for city parking permits for Inauguration Day, and about four times as many have been registered for parking the next day for the Women’s March on Washington, according to D.C. officials.

Terry Owens, a spokesman for the District’s Department of Transportation, stressed that these numbers are fluid and could change.

Owens said about 450 buses are registered for parking Friday, and about 1,800 on Saturday. This does not necessarily mean that all of the buses parking on Friday are in the nation’s capital to celebrate the inauguration, and that all of the buses on Saturday are here for the Women’s March.
