President-elect Donald Trump has arrived at the White House to meet President Obama.

President and Michelle Obama greeted Donald and Melania Trump on a red carpet outside the White House, welcoming them to their new home.

“Mr. President-elect, how are you?” Obama said as Trump stepped out of a black van. “Congratulations.”

Melania Trump gave Michelle Obama a gift in a powder-blue box, and the couples posed together before a phalanx of photographers before heading into the White House for a few private moments together before the inauguration ceremonies.

Just before the Trumps’ arrival, Vice President and Jill Biden welcomed Vice President-elect Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, to the White House.
