Girl Scouts from all over the country gathered on the Mall for a celebration of the organization’s 100th anniversary.
June 9, 2012Thousands of Girl Scout troops from around the nation were on the Mall in Washington to celebrate the organization's 100th anniversary. An estimated 200,000 Girl Scouts, family, alumnae and friends from around the world and every Girl Scout Council in the United States were expected to attend the "Rock the Mall" event to celebrate the Girl Scout movement.
