The crowd started to line up hours before the noon opening of the new poker room at Maryland Live Casino on Wednesday. By 1 p.m., 1,000 people were waiting to get in on the action in the 52-table, 520-player poker room, one of the largest in the region. The addition of table games to Maryland casinos was made possible by a November referendum that approved the expansion of casino gambling in the state. Read related article.
