Adult male murdered in Clinton

Detectives are investigating the slaying of an adult male in Clinton on Saturday morning, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Officers responded to the 6300 block of Coventry Way for a report of a shooting around 2:15 a.m., according to a police statement. Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound; he died at a local hospital.

Police are following strong leads, but other information like an age range for the victim and a motive were unavailable Saturday afternoon.
