Blackbird freed: Rolfe Pl., 900 block, July 2. Mineral oil was used to safely free a bird stuck in a glue trap.

Stuck at the office: N. Columbus St., 100 block, June 29. A bird was trapped in an office building but was safely released.

Arlington

Injured rabbit euthanized: S. Oakcrest Rd., 1000 bock, July 1. A cottontail rabbit with extensive injuries was taken to a shelter. The rabbit was humanely euthanized.

Returned to nest: S. Walter Reed Dr., 2000 block, June 29. A baby bird was found on a balcony. The bird was safely placed back in its nest.

Bat found at school: N. Stafford St., 1000 block, July 1. An injured bat was found in a school parking lot. The bat was taken to a shelter for rehabilitation.
