ROBBERIES

Columbia Pike S., 4300 block, 11:20 p.m. Jan. 31. Three men entered an apartment by forcing the door with a crowbar. When confronted by residents returning to the home, one of the intruders said that he was a police officer. After ordering the residents into a bathroom, they fled empty-handed.

Fort Myer Dr. N., 1800 block, 9:02 p.m. Feb. 4. Two men threatened a pedestrian and demanded property, then fled empty-handed when he resisted.

Hayes St. S., 1100 block, 11:02 a.m. Feb. 4. Four people wearing masks threatened jewelry store employees, then smashed display cases with hammers and fled with jewelry.

Pollard St. N., 500 block, 12:21 a.m. Feb. 6. Two men robbed a male pedestrian at gunpoint, then ran to a waiting vehicle. Police witnessed the incident and prevented the vehicle from driving away. A Fairfax man, 32, a Woodbridge man, 19, and a Vienna man, 18, were arrested on robbery charges.

Ninth St. N., 3800 block, 7:55 p.m. Feb. 4. Two men robbed a pedestrian of her cellphone. One of the assailants was armed with a box cutter.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Columbia Pike, 4300 block, 8:30 p.m. Feb. 2 to 3:37 a.m. Feb. 3. Property was stolen from an apartment entered by force.

Kenworth St. N., 1100 block, Feb. 3. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.

Vermont St. N., 700 block, 8 p.m. Feb. 4 to 6 a.m. Feb. 5. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging the front door.
