Armistead St. N., 500 block, 6:28 p.m. May 12. A juvenile assaulted a police officer. An arrest was made.

Columbus and King streets, 2:53 a.m. May 14. An assault was reported.

Duke St., 2700 block, 10:44 p.m. May 9. Two people fought.

Edsall Rd., 6000 block, 1:42 a.m. May 12. An assault was reported.

Holmes Run Pkwy., 5300 block, 2:38 a.m. May 12. A pedestrian was assaulted.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 3800 block, 1:47 a.m. May 14. An assault was reported.

King St., 500 block, 11:32 a.m. May 13. Two people fought. An arrest was made.

King St., 4300 block, 5:49 p.m. May 13. A pedestrian was almost hit by a vehicle.

Lincolnia Rd., 6100 block, 2:15 p.m. May 13. An assault was reported.

Quaker Lane, 1200 block, 6:45 a.m. May 15. An assault was reported.

Duke St., 4300 block, 7:53 p.m. May 13. Two subjects robbed a man of cash and jewelry by beating him.

Madison St., 200 block, 10:40 a.m. May 12. Cash and a cash register were stolen from a facility entered by smashing glass on a door.

Ancell St., unit block, 6:43 p.m. May 11. Two scooters and a child’s bicycle and helmet were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Beauregard St. N., 1400 block, 8:11 a.m. May 11. A moped was stolen but was later recovered with damage to the ignition.

Holmes Run Pkwy., 5500 block, 11:13 a.m. May 12. A motorcycle was stolen from a parking garage.

Arlington

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Taylor St. N., 1000 block, 2:49 a.m. May 12. A man groped a woman walking toward an apartment building. An Arlington man, 22, was located by police and charged with sexual battery.

ASSAULTS

Carlin Springs Rd. N., 4300 block, 2:58 a.m. May 12. Two men assaulted a cabdriver after not paying for their fare and fled. The victim sustained a broken jaw and was taken to a hospital.

Quincy St. N., 800 block, 4:20 a.m. May 11. A verbal argument escalated between two sisters causing one to strike the other in the back of the head with a mug. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, and the suspect fled before police arrived. A warrant was obtained for a 26-year-old Arlington woman.

Second Rd. N., 4200 block, 6:59 a.m. May 10. Three males assaulted a person after an argument escalated. A Hyattsville man, 25, and two Arlington men, ages 37 and 43, were charged with malicious wounding. The victim suffered a stab wound in the torso.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lee Hwy. N., 5000 block, 5:05 p.m. May 8 to 5:30 a.m. May 9. Cash was stolen from a safe at a restaurant entered by force.

Pollard St. N., 2500 block, 11:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. May 9. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by force.

Quincy St. S., 2000 block, 5 p.m. May 4 to 1:15 p.m. May 8. A Persian rug, electronics and clothing were stolen from a residence.

Seventh St. S., 4000 block, 6:15 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. May 8. Jewelry and an iPhone were stolen from a residence.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Glebe Rd. S., 2700 block, May 12. A black 2001 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle was stolen.

Kensington St. S., 200 block, May 11. A brown 1992 Toyota Corolla was stolen.

Quincy St. N., 1200 block, May 12. A silver 2010 Toyota Corolla was stolen.

Taft St. N., 1400 block, May 13. A black 2003 Jeep Liberty was stolen.

Vermont St. N., 700 block, May 9. A white 2009 Ducati Monster was stolen.
