SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Thomas St. N., 300 block, 11:10 a.m. Oct. 17. An Arlington man was arrested and charged in connection with a rape.

ASSAULTS

Columbia Pike S., 3000 block, 8:03 a.m. Oct. 19. After a verbal altercation, a man struck a person in the face several times with a metal ashtray.

Courthouse Rd. N., 1200 block, 5:49 a.m. Oct. 20. During a physical altercation, two men destroyed property in an establishment. An Annandale man, 27, and an Arlington man, 20, were arrested and charged.

Ninth St. S., 2500 block, 9:38 p.m. Oct. 17. After a verbal altercation, a man pepper sprayed and struck a person multiple times outside a grocery store. The person, 56, sustained lacerations to the head. An Arlington man, 46, was arrested and charged.

ROBBERIES

Clarendon Blvd. N., 2800 block, 1:45 p.m. to 2:01 p.m. Oct. 18. A man robbed a male of cash at knifepoint.

12th St. S., 700 block, 1:19 p.m. Oct. 22. Two men demanded money from a teller at a bank and fled with the cash in a backpack.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Clark St. S., 3500 block, 7:08 p.m. Oct. 21. Wallets and cellphones were stolen from multiple lockers in the men’s locker room of a gym.

Randolph St. N., 800 block, 8 to 10:30 a.m. Oct. 18. Cash and a laptop computer were stolen from an apartment.

Woodrow St. N., 3700 block, 3:31 p.m. Oct. 22. Light fixtures were stolen from a residence under construction.

31st St. S., 4400 block, 9 a.m. Oct. 20 to 7 a.m. Oct. 21. Property was stolen from an apartment building storage facility entered by force.
