Harry S. Truman Pkwy., 300 block, 1 a.m. Jan. 28. After driving to a workplace, Calvin Cofield, 50, of Bowie shot a 43-year-old Crownsville woman, then turned the gun on himself. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim, his estranged wife, was taken to a hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. An investigation was ongoing.
BROOKLYN PARK AREA
W. Meadow Rd., 100 block, 11:29 p.m. Jan. 28. After approaching her as she was unloading a vehicle, a man wearing a mask robbed a woman of cash and a cellphone at gunpoint, then fled on foot.
GLEN BURNIE AREA
Gatewater Ct., 300 block, 11:44 a.m. Jan. 29. The body of Dianna Lee Fitzwater, 62, of Glen Burnie was found inside a residence. On Jan. 30, after an autopsy that determined that the cause of death was asphyxiation, a Glen Burnie man, 22, was charged with first-degree murder.
Tanyard Cove Rd. and Marley Neck Blvd., 4:05 a.m. Jan. 27. Responding to the report of a disturbance, police found the body of Darren Dwayne Bell, 26, of Baltimore. He had sustained gunshot and stab wounds. Three arrests were made nearby. A Baltimore man, 48, was charged with first-degree murder. A Glen Burnie woman, 27, and a Pasadena man, 24, were charged with possession of a handgun.
Genine and Sunnybrook drives, 6:46 p.m. Jan. 29. Two males attacked a pedestrian, who sustained stab wounds during a struggle. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Hampton Dr. S., 7800 block, 9:40 p.m. Jan. 28. A gunman approached a parked car and announced a robbery, then shot the motorist as he started to drive way. The victim drove himself to a hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.
Nolpark Ct., 7900 block, 7:04 a.m. Jan. 29. A male approached a woman getting into a vehicle, then threatened her and robbed her of cash. The woman, who was slightly injured during the incident, drove herself to a hospital.
Arundel Mills Cir., 7000 block, 3:30 p.m. Jan. 29. A man armed with a weapon got into the back seat of a vehicle in a mall parking lot and demanded property from two acquaintances. A Severn man, 21, was arrested at the scene. A weapon was recovered. No injuries were reported.

Ritchie Hwy. S., 100 block, 7:48 p.m. Jan. 29. Two males wearing masks robbed a store of cellphones at gunpoint.

Croll Dr., 200 block, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 29. A residence was entered through a front window. Nothing was reported missing.
Kensington Way, 1000 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 25 to 2 a.m. Jan. 26. Two flat-screen TVs, two cameras, clothes and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear window.
Munroe Ct., 11 p.m. Jan. 22 to 11 a.m. Jan. 23. A tablet computer was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
Quiet Waters Pl., 100 block, 2:15 a.m. Two unlocked vehicles were entered. Nothing was reported missing.
Royal St., 900 block, 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by forcing a back door. Nothing was reported missing.
Severn Ave., unit block, 10 p.m. Jan. 23 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 30. A crossbow was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
State Cir., unit block, 7 p.m. Jan. 27 to noon Jan. 28. A computer was stolen from a business entered by forcing a door.
Spa Rd., unit block, 8 p.m. Jan. 25 to 11 a.m. Jan. 26. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
Second St., 500 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 23 to 3 p.m. Jan. 24. A global positioning system device, a digital media player and a pair of pants were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

INDECENT EXPOSURE INCIDENTS
Daylong Lane, 6100 block, 9:30 a.m. Jan. 25. A man was seen exposing himself inside a gold minivan.
Gramercy Pl., 10600 block, 10:33 p.m. Jan. 28. Two males wearing ski masks and armed with a stun gun used the weapon on a person in a parking lot and demanded property. The victim was only slight injured, refused and chased them to a waiting vehicle driven by an accomplice, who also was wearing a mask.
Kerry Hill Ct., 7300 block, 7:12 p.m. Jan. 27. A male wearing a mask forced his way inside a residence at gunpoint, then fled empty-handed when an occupant activated an alarm.
Benjamin Franklin Dr., 8700 block, 12:30 p.m. Jan. 28 to 6:30 a.m. Jan. 29. Copper wire was stolen from a construction-site storage container entered by breaking a lock.
Eden Brook Dr., 7300 block, 9:02 p.m. Jan. 30. A fitness center was entered by forcing a window. Nothing was reported missing.
Turnabout Lane, 5900 block, 8:51 p.m. Jan. 24. An attempt was made to enter an apartment by forcing the front door. Nothing was reported missing.

Davis Rd., 8500 block, 5:31 p.m. Jan. 21. A blue 2004 Yamaha all-terrain vehicle was stolen.
Eden Brook Dr., 7200 block, 9:42 p.m. Jan. 30. A blue 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser was stolen.
Kerry Hill Ct., 7300 block, 10:30 a.m. Jan. 20. A silver 2011 Hyundai Elantra was stolen.
Little Patuxent Pkwy., 11400 block, 1 to 7:29 a.m. Jan. 29. A 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was stolen.
Rowanberry Dr., 6300 block, 6:51 p.m. Jan. 29. A red 2010 Toyota Corolla was stolen.
Old Waterloo Rd., 6900 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 25 to 6 a.m. Jan. 28. Copper was stolen from an HVAC unit at an elementary school entered through the roof. An attempt was made to steal copper piping that was part of two large air-handler units. The units were damaged, and a substantial flood resulted.
ELLICOTT CITY AREA
Morgan Ct., 4600 block, 5:22 p.m. Jan. 27. A residence was entered by breaking a window. Responding to a report of a person ringing doorbells at several addresses in the neighborhood, police arrested a 15-year-old male in a home at this location. Charges included burglary, theft and destruction of property.
Nanmark Ct., 3400 block, 9:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30. Jewelry, a credit card and a lock box were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a front window.
Parsley Dr., 9300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3:51 p.m. Jan. 30. Jewelry, a tablet computer and two cameras were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.
Stonecrest Dr., 4500 block, 5:30 to 7:29 p.m. Jan. 26. A handgun, cash and jewelry were among property stolen from a residence by breaking glass in a garage door.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
Brittany Dr., 4100 block, Jan. 25 to Jan. 27. A green 2005 Kawasaki all-terrain vehicle was stolen.
Meriwether Dr., 14800 block, Jan. 23 to Jan. 24. Electrical wire was stolen from a house under construction entered through the garage.
Mission Rd., 8200 block, 7:35 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Jan. 29. Two tablet computers, jewelry, cash and medication were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a bedroom window.
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS
Old Jessup Rd., 7800 block, Jan. 26. A trailer was stolen.
Bourbon St., 9100 block, 6 p.m. Jan. 29. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence by kicking in the front door. Nothing was reported missing.
Washington Blvd., 9500 block, 1:59 a.m. Jan. 31. A cash register drawer and a computer were stolen from an auto-repair shop entered by breaking a side window.
