Annapolis Mall, 1300 block, 6:15 p.m. A woman punctured another woman’s back with a sharp object during an argument inside a clothing store between two groups who did not know each other. The woman who was stabbed refused medical treatment. A Landover woman, 26, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault.
Southview and Chestnut Tree Drives, 2:33 a.m. Sept. 3. A man entered a vehicle while another man stood as a lookout. A Baltimore man, 31, and an Arnold man, 19, were arrested.
Ritchie Hwy., 1400 block, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A man announced a robbery at a bank and fled on foot with cash. Another male may have acted as a lookout.
Heritage Hill Drive and Polk Circle, 5:05 p.m. Sept. 1. Five male teenagers attacked a man on the street and fled with his clothes. The man was taken to a hospital. Three males were charged as juveniles with robbery, assault and reckless endangerment. They were released to their guardians.
S. Main Chapel Way, 1400 block, 3:40 p.m. Sept. 4. Two restaurant employees fought over food in a restaurant. One man hit the other with a frying pan. The other man cut him on the head, leg and arm with a cooking knife. The man who was stabbed was taken to a hospital. A Washington man, 26, was arrested and charged with attempted second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. The investigation was ongoing. The other man may also face charges.
Heathwood and Furnace Branch Roads, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A pedestrian noticed a black car with tinted windows circling the area. Shortly thereafter, a gunman robbed him of a cellphone and fled in the car driven by another male.
Ritchie Hwy., 6700 block, 1:41 a.m. Aug. 30. A woman asked a clerk for a pack of cigarettes at a pharmacy, then displayed a box cutter and told the clerk to open the register. The clerk fled. The woman fled with a few packs of cigarettes in a Mercury Grand Marquis. A police officer had stopped a woman in a Mercury Grand Marquis two hours earlier and went to that person’s house. A positive ID was made. A Glen Burnie woman, 41, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, theft under $100, possession of a dangerous concealed weapon and reckless endangerment.
Ritchie Hwy., 6700 block, 12:14 p.m. Sept. 3. A loss prevention officer at an office supply store followed a man who had exited the store with stolen merchandise. The man pushed the officer into the street and took his cellphone. A detective saw the incident and caught the man in a wooded area, hurting his leg in the process. A Brooklyn man, 26, was arrested and charged with robbery, theft, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment.
Sundown Ct., 1000 block, 10:56 p.m. Sept. 4. A vehicle owner saw a male teenager enter his vehicle without permission and run away. Nothing was reported missing. A Glen Burnie male, 16, was charged as a juvenile with rogue and vagabond and was released into his mother’s custody.
Winding Ridge Rd., 2400 block, 11:30 p.m. Aug. 29. A person shot at a residence, leaving five bullet holes. The shooter may have fled in a white Chevrolet or GMC work vehicle. The shooting does not appear to be random. An investigation was continuing.
Duvall Hwy., 800 block, 8:19 p.m. Aug. 29. A gunman wearing a bandana over his face demanded cash from employees at a general store. He fled on foot with cash.
Fort Smallwood Rd., 8700 block, 9:27 p.m. Sept. 1. A gunman attempted to rob a fast- food restaurant but was scared off by patrons.
Telegraph Rd., 7800 block, 12:56 a.m. Sept. 2. The outside front door of a pharmacy was opened, setting off an alarm. Entry was not gained through the interior doors. Surveillance footage showed four people attempting to enter the store — a woman, two men and a fourth person whose gender and age could not be determined.
Copeland St. and Bywater Rd., 1 a.m. Sept. 3. Two masked gunmen demanded purses from two women walking with another man. One of the gunmen chased one woman across the street and took her purse. The other woman refused to comply and the second gunman fired a shot over her shoulder. The gunmen were last seen on foot, heading toward Belle Drive. The woman who kept her purse was treated at the scene for a cut caused by the hot gunpowder.
Forest Dr., 1400 block, 12:20 p.m. Aug. 30. A gunman robbed a grocery store of cash and fled on foot. An Annapolis man, 46, was arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, theft, handgun on person, use of a firearm in a felony or violent crime, and reckless endangerment.
Bay Ridge Ave., 1000 block, 4 p.m. Aug. 30. An unsecured bicycle was stolen from outside a business. A man was seen riding away on it.
Forest Dr., 1700 block, 4:54 p.m. Aug. 28. An unlocked mountain bike was stolen from the vestibule of a business. A surveillance camera showed a man taking it.

Black Star Cir., 8500 block, 8:44 p.m. Sept. 1. A female gave her address to a person, who showed up at her home with two other people. The three pushed their way into the home, restrained one resident and fled on foot with a cellphone.
Harpers Farm Rd., 5400 block, 1 p.m. Aug. 30. Two people drove to the location to buy drugs from a person. The seller took cash but brandished a knife and fled in a car. The buyers followed him to Centennial Park and planned to confront him with an unloaded BB gun. The three got out of their vehicles and the seller threatened the man who had given him money before driving away.
Snowden River Pkwy., 9000 block, 8:30 a.m. Sept. 3. Three men armed with guns and a small knife entered a thrift store through a back door just before opening time. They ordered an employee to open the store’s safe and took cash from it, plus a cellphone. They bound two employees in a bathroom and fled before the employees were able to free themselves.
Benjamin Franklin Dr., 6800 block, 2 p.m. Aug. 30 to 6 a.m. Aug. 3. Three hundred feet of copper pipe and fittings and two grounding bars were loaded onto a cart and stolen from a construction site entered by cutting a hole in drywall.
Centre Park Dr., 8700 b lock, 3:49 to 3:51 a.m. Sept. 1. A doughnut shop was entered by removing a front door lock with a crowbar. Security cameras were taken down, but nothing was stolen.

Luckpenny Pl., 5400 block, 3:27 p.m. Aug. 29. Police observed a man enter a home through an unlocked front door. A Patapsco man, 30, was arrested and charged in connection with this incident and the earlier break-in on Luckpenny Place.
Talisman Lane, 7100 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 3 to 10 a.m. Sept. 4. An unsuccessful attempt was made to enter a vacant townhouse by prying a rear sliding glass door.
Port Capital and Beverly Drives, 12:10 a.m. Sept. 2. Four males chased a man walking from his car to a gated community. They demanded property but the man fled without giving them anything.
Washington Blvd., 6300 block, 10:45 p.m. Sept. 3. A man entered a spa and paid, then asked for a “full service massage.” The masseuse refused and the man pushed his way into the lobby while another man was buzzed inside. The first man rounded up employees while the second man took a cash box. They fled in a dark SUV.

Montgomery Rd., 4800 block, 1:30 a.m. Sept. 1. Cash was stolen from a doughnut shop entered by removing a lock from a front door. Surveillance cameras and cash drawers were removed.

Browns Bridge Rd., 7700 block, noon to 12:30 p.m. Aug. 30. Silver and gold coins were stolen from a residential safe. There was no sign of forced entry.
Washington Blvd., 8600 block, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 3. A man entered a spa and paid before entering a massage room. A second man was buzzed in and asked if his friend was there. The first man came out of the massage room with a folding knife. He grabbed an employee by the wrist and pushed her to the ground. Other employees locked themselves in a bathroom. Another employee tried to escape the spa and had a door slammed on her arm multiple times by one of the two men. The robbers fled empty-handed in a dark SUV.
Dorsey Run Rd., 7900 block, 4:57 a.m. Sept. 1. Cash was stolen from a doughnut shop entered by unscrewing a lock from a side door. A non-operational camera was taken down and a pry bar was used to enter a locked office. The door lock was replaced after entry had been gained.
Johns Hopkins Rd., 10700 block, 10 p.m. Aug. 31 to 7:10 a.m. Sept. 1. A residential sunroom was entered through an unlocked sliding door and two vehicles in the driveway were entered. A nightstand drawer was searched, but nothing was reported missing.
Alma Ave., 1-99 block, noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 4. A lime green 1992 Kawasaki dirtbike was stolen.
Washington Blvd., 9500 block, 3:28 p.m. Aug. 26. A red 2004 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen from a dealership. It was recovered in Virginia. Two arrests were made.
Washington Blvd., 9400 block, Sept. 3. An attempt was made to steal a grocery store’s delivery truck.
Bushy Park Rd., 14800 block, 12:45 a.m. Aug. 31. An acquaintance of a resident broke into a detached garage and took a diesel tractor. The tractor was recovered on Route 97 near Interstate 70.
