Fort Meade Rd., 3400 block, 6:47 p.m. Oct. 16. A pedestrian was robbed of his cellphone at gunpoint.


Veterans Hwy., 8200 block, 6:01 p.m. Oct. 11. During a fight, an 18-year-old man was stabbed in the parking lot of a convenience store. A Millersville man, 19, and a male youth, 17, were arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

Forest Hills Ave., 1000 block, 12:41 a.m. Oct. 12. A homeowner awoke when he heard noise from his kitchen. An intruder hit the homeowner with a chair and a struggle ensued. The homeowner restrained the man until police arrived. An Annapolis man, 31, was charged with first- and second-degree burglary, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and disturbing the peace.


Bristol Cir., unit block, noon Oct. 8 to noon Oct. 12. A hunting knife and other property were stolen from a vehicle.

Bristol Cir., unit block, 9 p.m. Oct. 12 to 8 a.m. Oct. 13. A satellite radio receiver, a DVD storage case, a roadside tool kit, and an iPod Touch were stolen from two unlocked vehicles.

Cedar Park Rd., 900 block, 11:54 p.m. Oct. 14. An alarm was triggered at a church, where officers found the front doors unlocked, a ripped screen and a wallet in a stairwell that belonged to an intruder. An Annapolis man, 26, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property.

Cherry Grove Ave., 700 block, 6:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 11. Someone forced open a locked garage door at a residence. Nothing was reported stolen.

Halsey Rd., 400 block, noon Oct. 5 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 8. An iPod was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Primrose Rd., 1000 block, 8 p.m. Oct. 10. Tools were stolen from a locked box in the rear of a truck.

Ridgely Ave., 400 block, 12:03 a.m. Oct. 15. A toolbox on wheels was stolen from an auto repair shop.

Severn Ave., 400 block, 5 p.m. Oct. 12 to 10:45 a.m. Oct. 13. A checkbook and a credit card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Tyler Ave., 1400 block, noon to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 16. Video game equipment was stolen from a residence.

Wainwright Dr., unit block, 2 to 8 a.m. Oct. 13. Clothing and a cellphone were stolen from a vehicle parked at a residence.


Melrob Ct., unit block, 9:07 p.m. Oct. 15. An unlocked vehicle was stolen. An Annapolis man, 18, was charged with the theft.

Parole St., unit block, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 16 to 6 a.m. Oct. 17. A 1996 Lexus was stolen.

Howard County

Clarksville Pike, 10900 block, 5:56 p.m. Oct. 16. A female youth held the arms of an acquaintance while a male youth took cash and a cellphone.


Greystone Ct., 8400 block, 1 to 9 a.m. Oct. 10. Someone entered a residence through a sliding-glass door and stole a vehicle, a wallet and keys.

Little Patuxent Pkwy., 10300 block, 7:08 p.m. Oct. 16. Someone asked to see an engagement ring at a jewelry store. When the salesperson complied, the person grabbed two rings from her fingers and fled.

Overheart Lane, 6500 block, 8:03 p.m. Oct. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence.


Lambskin Lane, 9 p.m. Oct. 10 to 4:09 a.m. Oct. 11. A Honda Civic was stolen.


Baltimore National Pike, 9000 block, 3:09 a.m. Oct. 11. Someone smashed a window at a business and took phones and a cash box.

Upper Mill Ct., 3500 block, 3:23 a.m. Oct. 17. A resident heard a door break at her home. She locked herself inside the laundry room until police arrived. An investigation found that the door had been broken with a rock, and a male acquaintance of the resident was hiding in an upstairs closet. A Columbia man, 22, was charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of malicious destruction of property and trespassing.


North Ridge Rd., 3200 block, 7:15 p.m. Oct. 10. A 2010 Mazda was stolen.


Burntwoods Rd., 14600 block, 12:39 a.m. Oct. 17. Someone tampered with a garage door at a residence.


Washington Blvd., 8700 block, 11:25 p.m. Oct. 10. A rock was thrown through a window at a gas station in connection with a theft.


Guilford Rd., 9900 block, 12:14 a.m. Oct. 10. A 1995 BMW was stolen.


Bourbon St., 9100 block, 10:52 a.m. Oct. 10. A homeowner saw a male intruder in his living room wearing a ski mask. The male fled with cash, jewelry and shoes. Pry marks were seen on a door.

Mayflower Ct., 9400 block, 9 a.m. to 5:08 p.m. Oct. 16. Laptop computers, clothing and electronics were stolen from a residence.


Washington Blvd., 9000 block, 1:30 a.m. Oct. 16. A door at a convenience store was pried open, and cigarettes and cash were stolen. An attempt was made to steal a safe. Three males fled the store through a side door.

Washington Blvd., 8100 block, 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 10. Tools were stolen from a garage entered by breaking a side window.
