Cherry Blossom Festival events for March 24, 2014

●Blossoms by Bike: Take a two-hour ride around the Tidal Basin, East Potomac Park and beyond. Departs from 955 L’Enfant Plaza. $35 for adults, $25 for children. Times and reservations:

D.C. Metro Cherry Blossom Food Tour: Historic guided tours are combined with stops at restaurants for specially created dishes and drinks in Old Town Alexandria, Capitol Hill or Georgetown. Information and to book tours: 202-683-8847 or

Beyond the Tidal Basin: Guided tram tour will show a variety of flowering cherry trees and explain the scientific work done by the National Arboretum to preserve and improve them. Arboretum, 24th and R streets NE. $22. March 30, 1-3 p.m. Registration required. Go to: usna.
