Crews work to repair broken water main in Northwest D.C.

Crews began working Wednesday morning to repair a ruptured water main in Northwest Washington.

D.C. Water officials said the broken eight-inch main is located on Randolph Street between Georgia Avenue and 10th Street NW. The emergency repairs began around 5 a.m. and are expected to last until approximately 2 p.m.

Traffic will not be impacted by the work, but some customers in the area may experience a service disruption, officials said.

Anyone with issues or concerns can contact D.C. Water customer service at 202-612-3400.
