ARNOLD AREA
INDICTMENT

Taylor Ave., 1200 block, Jan. 20. A man was arrested in October in connection with an assault on his grandmother, mother and sister. The 19-year-old Arnold man was charged with first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. The grandmother died Oct. 26 of complications from multiple injuries. On Feb. 2, the man was indicted with involuntary manslaughter in connection with the grandmother’s death.

LAUREL AREA
CARJACKING

Rt. 198, 3400 block, 3:48 a.m. Feb. 4. A male entered the driver’s side of a vehicle while the car owner was sitting in the passenger seat. The male struck the car owner in the head, pushed him out of the car and fled in the stolen Hyundai Alantra.

Annapolis

ASSAULT

Primrose Rd., 1000 block, 8:10 p.m. Feb. 6. A 26-year-old Annapolis man was arrested and charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

ROBBERY

Burnside St., 500 block, 4 p.m. Feb. 1. A 51-year-old Annapolis man was arrested in connection with a Jan. 29 bank robbery on Hillsmere Drive.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

Eaglewood Rd., 1000 block, 1 p.m. Jan. 31 to 6 p.m. Feb. 2. Packages were stolen on two different occasions after they were delivered and left inside an apartment building.

VEHICLE THEFTS

Kensington Way, 1000 block, 8 a.m. Jan. 26 to 5:15 p.m. Feb. 3. A green 2006 Kawasaki KLX250 motorcycle was stolen from the back yard of a residence.

West St., 900 block, 3:40 p.m. Feb. 6. A 2005 Ford pickup truck, left with the engine running, was stolen. At 4:20 p.m., Cambridge Police recovered the vehicle and arrested a 26-year-old Germantown man.

THEFT/BREAK-IN

River Oak Ct., 7000 block, 5:55 p.m. Feb. 8. A license plate was stolen from a vehicle.

COLUMBIA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Little Patuxent Pkwy., 10400 block, 1:41 a.m. Feb. 3. A 21-year-old Columbia man and a 19-year-old Laurel man were arrested and charged with burglary.

Pressed Gentian, 6500 block, 9:29 p.m. Feb. 8. A 22-year-old Columbia man was arrested and charged with burglary and trespassing.

Stevens Forest Rd., 5700 block, 6:03 a.m. Feb. 6. Identification was stolen from a vehicle.

VEHICLE THEFTS

Green Dragon Ct., 11200 block, 10:01 p.m. Feb. 4. A 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer was stolen.

Mossy Brink Ct., 7300 block, 4:17 p.m. Feb. 4. A 2002 Dodge Caravan was stolen.

Talisman Lane, 7100 block, 7:46 a.m. Feb. 8. A 2003 Honda Accord was stolen.

VEHICLE THEFT

Valley Oak Dr., 7700 block, 2:26 a.m. Feb. 4. A 1996 Lexus was stolen.

ASSAULT

Kings Gift Dr., 2800 block, 10:46 p.m. Feb. 3. A 17-year-old female suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to her arm. She was treated at a hospital and released. There is no description of the assailant.

FULTON AREA
ROBBERY

Midtown Rd., 7600 block, 10:21 p.m. Feb. 8. A male accosted a boy, pushed him and took his headphones.

JESSUP AREA
THEFT/BREAK-IN

Washington Blvd., 8100 block, Feb. 1-2. Tires were stolen from five vehicles overnight.

VEHICLE THEFT

Washington Blvd., 8600 block, 10:08 p.m. Feb. 8. A 2006 Hyundai Azera was stolen.

LAUREL AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Country Meadows Lane, 9700 block, Feb. 1-2. Tires were stolen from a vehicle overnight.

Davis Ave., 9700 block, Feb. 1-2. Cash was stolen from a business entered by force through a window.

Mountain Laurel Way, 9700 block, 3:29 p.m. Feb. 5. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle.

Sylvan Still Rd., 9500 block, 4:42 p.m. Feb. 7. License plates were stolen from a vehicle.
