Two brothers from Germantown have been arrested in connection with a double shooting that occurred Saturday night in the Gaithersburg area, the Montgomery County police said.

The two were charged in the shooting that occurred around 10:30 p.m. near Washington Grove Lane and Mineral Springs Drive, the police said. The victims’ wounds were not believed to be life-threatening.

The suspects were identified by police as Abdelrahman Abdou 18, and Abdullah Abdou, 20, of the 12000 block of Panthers Ridge Drive. Police said each was charged with first degree assault and other offenses, including use of a firearm in a crime of violence.

No motive for the shootings was described.
