1 person dead after disturbance at Montgomery officer’s home
One person died and a relative was critically injured in a domestic disturbance inside the home of a Montgomery County police officer on Wednesday night, police officials said.
It was not immediately clear who was killed in the incident.
Capt. Jim Daly said that the police officer was off-duty at the time, and that the officer had fired a weapon. Daly said the incident happened among family members. It was not immediately clear what caused the confrontation.
Police were called to the single-family home in the 7400 block of Lake Katrine Terrace just after 8 p.m., Daly said. Police officials declined to describe the nature of the injuries.
Although Daly said the off-duty officer had fired a weapon, he did not say whether the officer shot anyone. Daly would not confirm who was injured.
