3 are killed in Pr. George’s apartment

Three people were found dead Saturday afternoon in an apartment in Prince George’s County in what police described as a triple homicide.

A visitor to the apartment, in the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike in the Capitol Heights area, found the bodies about 5:30 p.m. and called authorities, police said. Police described all three as adults who had body wounds. Few other details were available.

One person with knowledge of the matter reported there were signs that all three had been shot, but police specified no cause of death and said autopsies would be performed.

They declined to say whether any weapon had been found in the apartment, located in a row of buildings amid trees along a drive running northeastward off Marlboro Pike.

The victims’ ages and genders could not be learned, and it was not known whether any of them lived in the apartment.

The visitor who found them was not identified and no reason was given for the visit. Those with information were asked to call 301-772-4925.
