Alexandria man dies days after shooting

A man who was shot in Alexandria last week died from his injuries Sunday, authorities said.

Julio Caesar Urrutia-Erazo, 27, of Alexandria was shot in the 3800 block of Russell Road on Thursday after an argument between two groups of people in the area, Alexandria police said. He died Sunday.

Police have not made an arrest in this case.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call Alexandria police Detective Michael Rodriguez at 703-746-6165.​​​
