Seward Ave., 400 block, 2:08 p.m. Jan. 7. Three males approached a woman as she was carrying a trash can behind her home and robbed her of a wallet. The robbers ran through the alley toward Church Street.


Davidsonville Rd. near Duke of Kent Dr., 4:03 a.m. Jan. 6. A group of males fled on foot from Crofton police, who called county police for backup. It was determined that they had taken copper wiring from a construction trailer in the 1400 block of Duke of Kent Drive and placed it in a vehicle. An Alexandria man, 23, and an Oxon Hill man, 29, were arrested and charged with second-degree burglary and theft. The Oxon Hill man was served an open warrant for failure to appear in traffic court.


Edgerly Rd., 900 block, 11:30 a.m. Jan. 2. Police investigated a home a day after a relative in Millersville called police to check on a suicidal man who was then taken to a hospital for treatment of a chemical burn. At the man’s home, police found several complete destructive devices as well as components, instruction manuals, more than 100 pounds of chemicals, guns, knives, drugs and packaging materials. A Glen Burnie man, 28, was arrested and charged with two counts of manufacturing a destructive device, two counts of possessing a destructive device and one count of reckless endangerment. All hazardous materials and substances were removed from the home.


Broadview Blvd. N. and Hollins Ferry Rd. N., 12:10 a.m. Jan. 5. Two males demanded cash from a female pedestrian. One of the males pulled the woman’s earbuds out of her ears. The woman screamed, and the males ran over light-rail tracks to Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard near Wellham Avenue.

E. Furnace Branch Rd., 7400 block, 7:21 p.m. Jan. 5. A gunman with his face covered by a bandanna robbed a gas station of cash. He fled in a gray or silver car driven by a female.

Ritchie Hwy., 7500 block, 6:35 p.m. Jan. 5. A masked male gave a note demanding cash to a clerk at a check-cashing business. He fled on foot empty-handed.


Ridge Commons Blvd., 1300 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 8. The driver of a silver two-door car passed two girls near a playground and turned around. The driver spoke to the girls and exposed himself.


Annapolis Rd., 2700 block, 12:04 a.m. Jan. 6. A gunman wearing a ski mask cocked his gun at a gas station clerk, and the clerk ran to the back of the store. The gunman left. The clerk did not know whether anything was taken.


Laurel Fort Meade Rd., 3500 block, 12:08 a.m. Jan. 8. A male punched a pedestrian in the back of the head and robbed him of cash and shoes. The pedestrian reportedly refused medical treatment.


Sands Rd., 9:33 p.m. Jan. 5. A masked gunman got into a vehicle while a male driver was dropping off a female passenger. The gunman punched the driver and hit him with the gun. A group of male teenagers surrounded the vehicle, pulled the driver out, punched him and took his wallet. The driver returned to his vehicle.


Piney Orchard Pkwy., 8700 block, 8:26 p.m. Jan. 3. Three masked males robbed a mobile phone store at gunpoint, taking phones and cash. They fled in a silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, which had been stolen from the 700 block of Linden Grove within an hour of the robbery. The Jeep was recovered in the 1000 block of Autumn Gold Drive.

Clay St., 100 block, 7:44 p.m. Jan. 6. A man hit an acquaintance in the face with a handgun during an argument inside a residence. The acquaintance was taken to a hospital with an injury. An Annapolis man, 49, was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon with intent to injure, reckless endangerment, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eastport Bridge, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 2. A man walking with a group of friends was stabbed by someone from another group who exchanged hostile words in passing. He was taken to a hospital.


Martha Ct., 1000 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 5. Two males punched a man on the street and knocked him down. They kicked him and took his cellphone. The phone was found nearby. The pedestrian, who had cuts and bruises on his face, was taken to a hospital.

W. Washington St., 1-99 block, 9:15 p.m. Jan. 6. A man punched an acquaintance inside a business and fled with his watch. An Annapolis man, 27, was arrested and charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft. The watch was returned.


Bay Ridge Ave., 1700 block, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 6 to 7 a.m. Jan. 7. Four bottles of wine and safety hats and vests were stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a rear vent window.

Bricin St., 1-99 block, 9:30 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 7. A resident arrived home and found an abandoned, still operating blow torch on the back porch of her apartment. It had been used to damage the door of an exterior supply closet.

Prince George St., 100 block, noon Jan. 3 to 3:50 p.m. Jan. 4. A window of a vehicle was broken.

Quiet Waters Pl., 100 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 6 to 6:45 a.m. Jan. 7. Two model trains, a pair of socks and a WiFi hotspot were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.


Admiral Dr., 200 block, 10:30 p.m. Dec. 30 to 3:15 a.m. Dec. 31. A white 2005 Mercury Mountaineer was stolen from a residential driveway. Broken glass was found on the ground.

Greenbriar Lane, 600 block, 7:20 to 7:30 a.m. Jan. 2. A blue 1998 Ford Explorer was stolen from a residential driveway.

Madison St., 1100 block, 10:12 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 7. A gold 2000 Ford Taurus was stolen after it had been left unlocked with the key in the ignition. It was discovered parked and unoccupied in the 1800 block of West Street.

Primrose Ct., 1100 block, 8:30 to 10 p.m. Jan. 2. A black 2007 Toyota Tundra pickup was stolen from a parking lot. A key had been left inside the door of the gas tank.

Tripp Creek Ct., 600 block, 7:45 to 7:55 a.m. Jan. 8. A silver 2012 Hyundai Sonata was stolen after it was left with the motor running. It was found locked at 4:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Tyler Avenue.

Daybreak Cir., 6000 block, 8 p.m. Jan. 1 to 5 a.m. Jan. 2. Cash was stolen from a bagel restaurant entered by breaking a lock on a back door.


Tamar Dr., 8300 block, 4:40 p.m. Jan. 6. A man driving a white SUV exposed himself to a female pedestrian. An Elkridge man, 36, was charged with indecent exposure.


Eden Brook Rd., 7300 block, 8:28 p.m. Jan. 3. A gunman approached a vehicle and robbed the driver of her purse.

Millrace Ct., 5900 block, 8:06 p.m. Jan. 6. A gunman robbed a female of her purse outside a residence.

Tamar Dr., 8900 block, 12:07 a.m. Jan. 7. Two men, one armed with a knife, robbed a male of his wallet, keys and phone. The robbers fled in a vehicle with a third man. Two Columbia men, 24 and 21, and a Baltimore man, 24, were arrested and charged with armed robbery, robbery, theft and second-degree assault.


Quiet Hours, 6500 block, 4:54 p.m. Jan. 8. An apartment was entered through an unlocked ground-floor window. Nothing was reported taken.

Rivendell Rd., 5200 block, 3 p.m. Jan. 7. Two 13-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy were arrested after a residence was entered through an unlocked door. They fled after being confronted by a resident.

Woodpark Lane, 7600 block, 4 to 6 p.m. Jan. 4. A computer monitor and keyboard were stolen from a home. There was no sign of forced entry.


Farewell Rd., 9400 block, 1:43 a.m. Jan. 3. A gold 2007 Honda van was stolen.

Hesperus Dr., 5100 block, 10:29 p.m. Jan. 4. A 2010 Toyota was stolen.

Pressed Gentian, 6500 block, 5:59 a.m. Jan. 4. A silver 2008 Acura MDX was stolen.


Ducketts Lane, 6300 block, 6:49 a.m. Jan. 7. Jewelry and electronics were stolen from a home entered by breaking a front door.


Elkridge Crossing Way, 7200 block, 10:17 a.m. Jan. 4. A maroon 2001 Ford F-150 was stolen.

Vert Dr., 6500 block, 10:26 a.m. Jan. 2. A Jeep was stolen.


North Ridge Rd., 3200 block, 8:05 p.m. Jan. 4. Three males forced a vehicle owner into his vehicle, where they robbed him of credit cards, cash and clothing.


N. Chatham Rd., 3400 block, 10:20 p.m. Jan. 7. A black 2006 Lexus GS300 was stolen.


Washington Blvd., 8700 block, 4:45 p.m. Jan. 5. A gunman robbed a gas station of cash.


Preston Ct., 8200 block, Dec. 26 to Jan. 6. A 2013 Ford van was stolen.


Kings Grant Rd., 9500 block, 2:16 a.m. Jan. 9. A man broke into a home and woke up a resident in her bedroom. The resident ran to another room, and the intruder fled. A Laurel man, 27, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft, assault and disorderly conduct.

Millies Manor, 9900 block, 10:04 a.m. Jan. 8. A bike was stolen from an open garage.

Washington Blvd., 9800 block, 2:49 a.m. Jan. 3. Stereo equipment was stolen from a store entered by breaking a front window.

Whiskey Bottom Rd., 9200 block, Dec. 30 to Jan. 6. A TV was stolen from a home entered by forcing open a rear door.
