Car hits apartment building in Aspen Hill

A car crashed into an apartment building in Aspen Hill on Monday morning, causing a gas leak, authorities said.

Emergency workers evacuated dozens of residents from the building, in the 2700 block of Snowbird Terrace, after the 9 a.m. crash. The building is at the intersection of Snowbird Terrace and Longmead Crossing Drive, just west of the Intercounty Connector.
