Hilltop Drive and Alley 26, 4:20 a.m. Sept. 28. A man was attacked by a group. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening wounds to the upper body.


Crain Hwy. N., 100 block, 11:15 a.m. Sept. 28. A woman passed a demand note to a bank teller and took cash. She fled on foot.

Elvaton Road and Tall Pines Court, 12:48 a.m. Oct. 1. A pedestrian was punched in the face and robbed of his wallet and cigarettes by one of three masked males. The pedestrian called police from a gas station and was taken to a medical facility for treatment of a minor injury.

Ritchie Hwy., 7200 block, 9:30 p.m. Sept. 25. Two males got out of a gray SUV and robbed a driver at gunpoint as he was filling his tires at a gas station. They took cash from the man’s pockets and fled in the SUV. The driver reported the incident the next afternoon.

Warfield Rd., 1-99 block, Sept. 27. Detectives served a search-and-seizure warrant at a home in connection with several armed robberies in the Northern District in the past few weeks. Two handguns, a 2008 Honda Accord, and packages of marijuana were seized. A Glen Burnie man, 18, was charged with two counts of armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault, and three handgun charges. Another Glen Burnie man, 22, was charged with marijuana possession, intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia.


Williams Grove, 7100 block, 3:30 a.m. Sept. 30. A man was seen trying the handles of a parked car. The owner yelled at him, and he ran away. A Glen Burnie man, 23, was arrested and charged with rogue and vagabond and willful motor vehicle tampering.

Truxton Park, 1-99 block, 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28. A group of people having a party at a pavilion assaulted a jogger and took his phone. The jogger’s nose was broken, and he sustained multiple bruises to the head and torso.


Cedar Park Rd., 1600 block, 11:30 p.m. Oct. 1 to 7:30 a.m. Oct. 2. Five dollars in loose change was stolen from a cup holder in a vehicle. There was no sign of forced entry.

Drew St., 1900 block, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 26. A lawnmower and a bike were stolen from an unlocked shed. The bike was located at the intersection of Parole and Drew streets by the homeowner.

Moss Haven Ct., 1000 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 26 to 7:30 a.m. Sept. 27. Loose change and a flashlight were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Moss Haven Ct., 1000 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 26 to 9 p.m. Sept. 27. Loose change, headphones and an EZ-Pass were stolen from two unlocked vehicles owned by the same person.

Warren Dr., 700 block, noon Sept. 26 to 2:20 a.m. Sept. 28. A house was entered by breaking a window. The interior was ransacked. Electronics and appliances were destroyed.

Daylong Lane, 6100 block, 11:17 a.m. Sept. 27. A male exposed himself at a gym.


Cradlerock Way, 6600 block, 11:29 a.m. Oct. 2. A male teenager snatched a female’s purse in a library parking lot and dropped it when a witness chased him down. The male escaped but the purse was recovered.

Guilford Rd., 8600 block, 1:28 a.m. Sept. 28. Two males and two females started talking to a shopper at a grocery store, then assaulted and robbed him as they exited the store. Cash was taken.

Sleepy Horse Lane, 12200 block, 12:10 a.m. Oct. 3. A pizza delivery order was placed with an address of a vacant residence. Two males shoved the delivery driver when he arrived.


Greystone Lane, 8400 block, 4:30 p.m. Sept. 27 to 10:45 p.m. Sept. 28. A TV, two video game consoles and boots were stolen from a home entered by removing a screen door.

Route 175, 6600 block, 4 p.m. Sept.2 6 to 9 a.m. Sept. 28. Boards were pulled off a hole in the side of an abandoned barn at a park. Nothing was reported stolen.

Stevens Forest Rd., 6100 block, 3:30 p.m. Sept. 26 to 1 p.m. Sept. 29. A window screen was bent back at a home. Entry was not gained.

Window Latch Way, 8500 block, 9:43 a.m. Oct. 1. Two males entered a home by cutting a screen door while a resident was home. They were hiding downstairs when police arrived. A Columbia man, 19, was charged with first-, second- and third-degree burglary, two counts of theft and malicious destruction of property. A 16-year-old male was arrested on juvenile charges.

Winter Rose Path, 7100 block, 5 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Two males were seen removing a stove from a vacant residence. A necklace and two wedding rings also were stolen. Entry may have been gained through an unlocked rear basement door.


Columbia Rd., 4900 block, 1:48 a.m. Sept. 24. A black 2012 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle and a red and black 2008 Honda CBR-600 motorcycle were stolen. Both were recovered on Valley Oak Drive in Elkridge. Three arrests were made.


Marshalee Dr., 6000 block, 10:29 p.m. Oct. 1. A masked male entered a hotel through a back door and took cash at gunpoint.


Hearthside Way, 7500 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 30 to 7 a.m. Oct. 1. Bundles of copper wire were stolen from a trailer at a construction site entered through a hole in the fence. A lock was removed to gain entry to the trailer.


Maplewood Dr. and Old Frederick Rd., 4:53 p.m. Oct. 1. A male exposed himself at a traffic intersection.


Beaver Run Ct., 4900 block, 11:45 p.m. Sept. 26. A gunman wearing a ski mask ran into a hotel through a front door and vaulted over the counter. He took cash from a safe and a cash drawer, jumped over the counter and fled.


Doncaster Dr., 4600 block, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 27. Jewelry and silverware were stolen from a home. Entry may have been gained through an unlocked back door.

Dunloggin Rd., 9000 block, 8:45 a.m. to 11 p.m. Sept. 30. Jewelry, an antique cash box and a cardboard box were stolen from a home. Entry may have been gained through an unlocked sliding door.

Normandy Woods Dr., 3100 block, 6 a.m. Sept. 23 to 2 p.m. Sept. 26. Two flat-screen TVs were stolen and a vehicle was moved to a different spot in the parking lot at a residence. There was no sign of forced entry to the home and the front door was left unlocked by the intruder on the way out.


Falls Run Rd., 8500 block, 12:30 to 8:30 a.m. Oct. 1. A silver 1998 Acura Integra was stolen. It was recovered stripped in Montgomery County.


Jones Rd., 7900 block, 9:37 p.m. Sept. 29. Two men riding in a cab robbed the driver of cash, a cellphone and a tablet computer at gunpoint. The driver was hit in the head with a gun. The men fled on foot.


Washington Blvd., 8100 block, 10:04 p.m. Oct. 2. Two people were seen ducking between vehicles in a restricted access parking garage. Both fled on foot when police arrived. An Upper Marlboro man, 40, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing.


McKenstry Dr., 8000 block, 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Sept. 30. Jewelry and a laptop computer were stolen from a home entered by forcing open a front door. Two females were seen going door to door earlier in the day selling books. Another person had been observed a week earlier knocking on a door and leaving when a dog barked.

River Hill Rd., 9100 block, 3 a.m. Sept. 27. A man broke into a storage shed and tried to take an all-terrain vehicle, but couldn’t start it. He went to a garage at another address and returned with a battery charger to start the ATV. A Laurel man, 18, was charged with two counts of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, third- and fourth-degree burglary, theft and malicious destruction of property.

River Hill Rd., 9100 block, 3 a.m. Sept. 27. A battery charger and a motorcycle were stolen from a garage. The motorcycle was recovered in a nearby field. The man arrested in the above report was connected with this theft.


Canterbury Riding, 9000 block, 11:28 a.m. Sept. 28. A blue Yamaha Vino 125 was stolen.

Washington Blvd., 1:48 p.m. Sept. 30. A 14-foot rental truck was stolen.
