D.C. police investigating body found in woods in Southeast Washington

D.C. police are investigating the body of a man that was found Thursday afternoon in woods in Southeast Washington, according to a department spokesman.

The body was found about 2:20 p.m. off the 3800 block of Wheeler Road SE, near Valley Avenue. An autopsy will determine a cause of death.
