Diallobe McDougald stabbed to death in Northeast D.C.

A 38-year-old man who was stabbed Monday afternoon in Northeast Washington has died from his injuries, according to D.C. police.

Officer Anthony Clay, a D.C. police spokesman, said Diallobe McDougald, of Northeast, was stabbed about 3:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of Central Place Northeast. Clay said he was pronounced dead at a hospital at 5:47 p.m.

The area is off West Virginia Avenue just outside of Trinidad, and near Gallaudet University. Police released few details of the slaying. They did say McDougald was stabbed on the street alongside Trinity Baptist Church.

Authorities are offering a reward up to $25,000 to anyone with information leading to an arrest and a conviction in the case. Call 202-727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411 with information.
