Driver dies in rollover on ramp to I-95

A motorist was killed Monday afternoon when his car rolled over on a ramp leading to Interstate 95 in the Laurel area, the Maryland state police said.

The single-car crash occurred about 3:15 p.m. on the ramp from the westbound lanes of Route 198 to the southbound lanes of the Interstate.

The driver’s name was not available immediately.

The crash is under investigation, the police said, and no cause was known.
