FedEx Field concession workers robbed

Concession workers at FedEx Field were robbed early Tuesday after Monday night’s Redskins-49ers football game, Prince George’s County police said.

Two concession employees were approached shortly after midnight by robbers who demanded cash and left with an undetermined sum, a county police spokeswoman said.

Another police spokeswoman said the victims reported that the robbers used a stun gun.

Nearly 80,000 people attended the game, but most had left the stadium by the time of the incident.

A Redskins spokesman declined to comment, except to say that police were investigating the robbery.
