Three men and a woman were shot early Monday in Southeast Washington, according to D.C. police. The victims were all struck in their arms and legs, and authorities said none of the injuries appeared to be life threatening.
The shooting occurred two minutes after midnight in the 1500 block of 19th Street SE, near Minnesota and Pennsylvania avenues. Police had initially said the victims were four men, but later said one of them was a woman.
Police said two men armed with handguns and wearing masks got out of a silver 2000 to 2004 Dodge Ram extended pickup truck and opened fire on a group standing on the residential street.
There were five people in the pickup, but police did not have detailed descriptions. Police said the pickup truck was seen being driven toward Pennsylvania Avenue.
