Boulder Crest Retreat for Wounded Warriors, in western Loudoun County, opened in September, and it is the nation’s first rural retreat devoted to caring for service members and veterans with physical and psychological injuries. Four families, one in each of the retreat’s four cabins, were Boulder Crest’s guests for Thanksgiving this year.
