Homeless man suffering from ‘upper body trauma’ dies in camping trailer in Landover

Prince George’s County police are investigating the death of a homeless man found suffering from “upper body trauma” inside a camping trailer Wednesday.

Police were called to the 2500 block of 50th Avenue in Landover at about 10:50 a.m. on Wednesday. They found 59-year-old Isaiah Williams injured. He was pronounced dead inside the camping trailer, where investigators say he had been staying recently.

Williams’s death marks the third homicide of the year for Prince George’s County.

Detectives are still working to determine suspects and a motive in the case. Police are asking anyone with information to call 1-866-411-TIPS.
