Man charged with murder in stabbing death of uncle

A 35-year old man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his uncle in Forestville, Prince George’s County police said.

Police say Andray Dawayne Johnson stabbed his uncle Michael Thomas Johnson, 34, during an argument on Feb. 4 at their home in the 4000 block of Suit Road in Forestville. The uncle died of his injuries Friday, police said.

Police said they responded to a call about 2:15 p.m. at the Johnsons’ home and found Michael Johnson suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital. Police said Andray Johnson was arrested at the scene that day. He was initially charged with attempted second-degree murder. He has now been charged with first- and second-degree murder, police said.
