Man fatally shot outside Oxon Hill apartment

A man was found fatally shot Wednesday evening outside of an Oxon Hill apartment complex, Prince George’s County police said.

Patrol officers responded at about 5:15 p.m. to the 600 block of Audrey Lane, near the Eastover Shopping Center, where they found a man who apparently had been shot, said Officer Nicole Hubbard, a police spokeswoman. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not identify the man and released no details about what led up to the incident.
