Man killed in Chevy Chase accident; electricity apparently involved on Oxford Street

A man was killed and two people injured Saturday in Chevy Chase in what appeared to be an electrical accident, authorities said.

The incident occurred in the 200 block of Oxford Street, said Montgomery County fire department spokesman Pete Piringer.

The three were extricated from a crawl space beneath the house, Piringer said. The man died at a hospital, a woman was burned and a teenager was also injured, he said.
