Man who accosted student sought in Loudoun

A woman student at the Loudoun County campus of Northern Virginia Community College was accosted near the campus Monday night by a male stranger who hugged and kissed her. A similar incident had occurred a little earlier on the campus, the county sheriff’s office said.

The off- campus incident happened between 7:20 p.m. and 8 p.m. The on-campus incident occurred about 7 p.m. The campus is in the the Sterling area.

The suspect in the second incident was described as white or possibly Hispanic and in his 20s. In both incidents, the man was described as being about 5 foot 6, with an athletic build and short black hair. He wore a dark t-shirt and striped shorts, and appeared to have a heavy accent.
