A 20-year-old man who was driving a motorcycle was killed Thursday morning in a collision with a sport-utility vehicle in Southeast Washington, according to D.C. police.

Queshawn Sexton of Southeast Washington was pronounced dead at an area hospital, police said.

The accident occurred shortly after 11 a.m. Police said the driver of the SUV turned off Good Hope Road near Anacostia and onto southbound 16th Street SE.

Police said Sexton was driving the motorcycle in the opposite direction on Good Hope and collided with the turning vehicle. Police said the accident remains under investigation.
