Cavallero has not yet had his initial court appearance, which is when more details about the slaying will be released. It occurred Jan. 24 about 2:45 p.m. in the 1300 block of Stevens Road SE. The victim was identified as Marcus Minor, 21, of Northeast.

Police have not divulged a possible motive.

Earlier that same day, police said a man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in Northeast. Police have said the two cases are not related.
