D.C. police middday Sunday were working to resolve a barricade situation in Southeast that may be connected with a shooting.

Police were called around 10:15 a.m. to the 3300 block of 15th Street SE for a shooting, police spokeswoman Karimah Bilal said. Around 11 a.m. they were called to the same location for a report of someone barricaded inside. Bilal said the connection, if any, between the two incidents wasn’t confirmed.

An adult male at the address had multiple gunshot wounds, and was transported to the hospital, she said. He was conscious at the time.

She didn’t know if the shooting was inside or outside of the address.
