Two women were found slain inside an Oxon Hill home on Saturday morning, Prince George’s County police said.

Officers were called to the home in the 5500-block of Chloe Drive around 7:50 a.m. for a welfare check, police said. When they arrived, they found the women suffering from trauma to the body. They were pronounced dead on the scene.

Officer Harry Bond said police were withholding the names of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin. He said detectives believe the killings were domestic in nature but declined to elaborate.

“They do believe this is a targeted incident,” Bond said. He said police did not immediately have information to release about a suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.
