Police seek three men in armed robbery of grocery store in Northeast Washington

D.C. detectives are looking for three men who robbed a corner grocery store in Northeast Washington last week. Police have released surveillance video that shows the trio walking into and out of the shop.

The robbery occurred about 7:30 p.m. Friday at the M&T Grocery in the 200 block of 15th Street Northeast, on the outskirts of Capitol Hill. Police said one man was armed with a black revolver, another with a silver handgun and the third with a knife.

The video does not show the robbery, but it does capture the men leaving the store holding what appears to be merchandise, including a box about the size of a case of beer. One man had a fake black beard, according to police.

Anyone with information is urged to call D.C. police at 202-727-9099 or text the department’s tip line at 50411. Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
